Starz has added several cast members for Black Sails.

Joining Toby Stephens and Hannah New in the upcoming pirate drama from Michael Bay is Aussie actor Luke Arnold, Shameless' Zach McGowan and The Secret Circle's Jessica Parker Kennedy.

The eight-episode series, centered on the story of Captain Flint (Stephens) and his men 20 years prior to Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island, will premiere on Starz in 2014.

Arnold, best known for his roles in Rush, McLeod's Daughters and Rescue: Special Ops, will play John Silver in the years before his well-known feats. McGowan will portray Captain Charles Vane, a rival pirate captain to Captain Flint. Kennedy will play Max, a tortured young prostitute who sees the dark side of New Providence.

Additional castings include Hotel Rwanda's Hakeem Kae Kazim as Mr. Scott, Crownies' Toby Schmitz a Rackham and Clara Paget (One Day, Fast and the Furious 6) as Anne Bonny, a female member of Captain Vane's crew.

Black Sails is executive produced by Bay and Platinum Dunes' Brad Fuller and Andrew Form. Jon Steinberg is the creator, showrunner and EP, with Robert Levine as co-EP.

Arnold is repped by WME, LMCM, Caliber Media and Bloom Hergott.
