Steven Bochco and David Milch Team Up for Legal Drama at NBC

The network has given a script order with a penalty to the one-hour project, which reunites the "NYPD Blue" co-creators.

NYPD Blue co-creators Steven Bochco and David Milch are teaming up again and this time, they'll be developing a legal drama for NBC.

The network has given a script order with penalty to the untitled one-hour project, to be produced by 20th TV and Imagine Television. The drama revolves around a charismatic "rainmaker" lawyer in Washington, D.C. who has a dark secret.

Bochco, Milch, Brian Grazer and Francie Calfo will serve as executive producers on the project, which Bochco and Milch, who is also readying HBO's horse drama Luck with Dustin Hoffman, co-created.

Prior to NYPD Blue, Bochco and Milch worked together on Hill Street Blues and L.A. Law.
