Still Besties: 'Wonder Years' Co-Stars Reunite at Hockey Game

Fred Savage and Josh Saviano, who played best friends Kevin Arnold and Paul Pfeiffer on the ABC show, were spotted Sunday night at Madison Square Garden.

"What would you do if I sang out tune? / Would you stand up and walk out on me?"

If you’re Fred Savage and Josh Saviano and that tune is the New York Rangers' fight song and you’re on the Jumbotron at Madison Square Garden, you raise your hands and shout in joy.

The former Wonder Years co-stars are evidently still besties 28 years after the iconic show about growing up in '60s suburbia first debuted on TV. The pair were spotted at a Rangers hockey game on Sunday night (the team beat the visiting Winnipeg Jets 5-2).

The team played Wonder Years clips on the arena’s video screens before flashing the image of the two cheering on the Jumbotron. Savage instagrammed the moment with the comment, “Jumbotron game on point.”

After the game, Savage and Saviano posed on the ice in the net. Saviano captioned his instagram photo, “You know it's a good night at a @nyrangers game when @thefredsavage and I end up in the net #epicnight #lgr.”

The pair, who are both 40 (!!), starred on the ABC series, which ran from 1988 to 1993. After attending college at Stanford, Savage carved out a career as a TV director, while also still acting. Last season, he starred in The Grinder with Rob Lowe on Fox. The show was not renewed for a second season. Savage currently is in New York filming the Netflix comedy Friends From College.

Saviano mostly gave up acting in favor of attending Yale University and Cardozo Law School and pursuing a law career (though he has done three episodes of Law & Order: SVU over the past few years).
