Sean Combs Guest Starring on 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' Season 8 (Exclusive)

UPDATED: The hip-hop mogul and actor will join the FX series for another comedic turn following 2010's "Get Him to the Greek."
The gang is getting a visit from Diddy.
The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Sean "Diddy" Combs is set to appear in the upcoming season It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. The hip-hop mogul and occasional actor's most recent comedic role was in the 2010 feature Get Him to the Greek.

Details on Combs' character are under wraps, but he's scheduled to start filming his guest spot on the FX comedy on Monday. His recent TV credits in Hawaii Five-0 and CSI: Miami.
The eighth season of Sunny in Philadelphia kicks off Thursday, Oct. 11. FX renewed Always Sunny for an eighth and ninth season in 2011.
Combs is repped by CAA.
