'Survivor: Philippines' Preview: 3 Veterans Return With a Vengeance (Video)
Michael Skupin, Russell Swan and Jonathan Penner say they aren't letting anything get in the way of their winning the $1 million prize this season.
Michael Skupin, Russell Swan and Jonathan Penner have another chance at winning $1 million on Survivor this season, and they say they aren't letting anything get in their way.
A preview clip of the CBS show shows the trio -- all of whom were medically evacuated on previous seasons -- giving interviews before shooting started on Survivor: Philippines, which marks the reality competition's 25th season.

"Survivor smacked me in the chops, and this time I'm smacking back," says Swan, who became unconscious as a result of dehydration during a challenge on Survivor: Samoa, the show's 19th season. "Either these people will run with me, or I'm gonna have to run them over."
Penner, meanwhile, has appeared on the show twice before: He originally competed on Survivor: Cook Islands, season 13, but returned three seasons later for Survivor: Micronesia -- Fans vs. Favorites, during which his knee became infected and he was forced to leave the show.
"You know how on fire I am to win this thing?" Penner says. "You know how much I can taste it? And you know how I can actually see it? Thirty-nine days from now, I'll make a million dollars."
Skupin originally competed on the show's second season, Survivor: The Australian Outback. He was removed from the game after falling into a campfire and burning his hands.

"I think the world saw that me falling in the fire was my greatest failure," he says. "I didn't see it that way. I think to dwell on 'what if' would cheat what the adventure was for me, but I'm in love with the fact that I'm able to come out and do it again."
Survivor: Philippines premieres at 8 p.m. Wednesday with a 90-minute episode. The cast also includes former Facts of Life star Lisa Whelchel, former Major League Baseball star Jeff Kent and two beauty pageant queens: former Miss Delaware Katie Hanson and former Miss Utah Teen Angie Layton.
