One player puts all her money --- the usual $500 allotment -- down on the first item up for grabs, while another, more generous contestant makes two bids for his tribemates.
Elsewhere in the episode, Lisa Whelchel struggles with some inner turmoil when she is forced to choose between emotional and strategic alliances.
Survivor: Philippines airs on CBS at 8 p.m. Wednesdays.
