TCA 2012: 'Dancing With the Stars' Winner Kelly Monaco Teases 'All-Star' Return
"If I told you... I'd have to kill you," the "General Hospital" star and first season victor tells reporters asking if her name will be announced with the rest of the cast.
With just a day to go until the announcement of Dancing With the Stars' "All-Star" cast, one competitor may have already graced the stage at the Television Critics Association's summer press tour.
Kelly Monaco, the first victor of the 15-cycle-old ABC series, was on hand for the General Hospital panel -- and when asked about her rumored return for the upcoming run, she demurred as only Dancing With the Stars competitors can.

"I'd love to be a part of the new season," she said, "but if I told you, in good old daytime fashion, I'd have to kill you."
Monaco is one of several alums frequently mentioned as likely additions to the new cast, which will be trotted out in front of reporters Friday morning.
She joins Bristol Palin (season eleven), Melissa Rycroft (season eight), Joey Fatone (season four) and Pamela Anderson (season ten) as possible members of the new group.
ABC continues to maintain its "no comment" policy on all casting rumors, but there has also been talk of tweaks to the format for the new season -- including giving viewers the chance to vote a fan favorite into the series.
This would make sense given the generous lead time the July casting announcement has given the new cast. Dancing With the Stars' competitors are normally only given three weeks' time between the big reveal and the season premiere. When the show returns to the airwaves on Sept. 24, nearly two months will have passed.
Fueling talk that she'll be one, Monaco concluded her tease on the subject matter with a promise to one reporter: "I would just like to say that if I'm here tomorrow and you're here tomorrow, I'll give you a high-five."
