'The Following' Sneak Peek: Emma Confronted With Joey's Tough Questions (Exclusive Video)
THR debuts an exclusive clip from Monday's episode, "Let Me Go," in which one of Joe Carroll's loyal followers takes a detour to meet one of Roderick's men.
The threesome is no longer on The Following.
After Emma (Valorie Curry) parts ways with Paul (Adan Canto) and Jacob (Nico Tortorella) in last week's episode, she -- along with Claire and Joe's kidnapped son Joey (Kyle Catlett) -- takes a detour to meet "a friend" in an old, nondescript warehouse. But even young Joey starts to ask questions.
In a scene from Monday's episode, "Let Me Go," exclusive to The Hollywood Reporter, Joey asks Emma a flurry of questions, including whether he is ever actually going to reunite with his mother Claire. It's clear in the minute-long clip that Emma is this close to coming unhinged.
"Everything is going to be OK ... I promise," Emma says in an attempt to reassure young Joey. Maybe it's the score, but there's something unsettling about the moment.
Moments later, Emma and Joey come across one of Roderick's menacing men, Bo (guest star Jacinto Taras Riddick). "It's about time you showed up." Shudder.
The Following airs at 9 p.m. Mondays on Fox.
