Tim Tebow Approached to Star on 'The Bachelor'
Chris Harrison says he has spoken with the Broncos’ QB, who recently signed with WME, about a stint on the ABC reality show.
Could Tim Tebow join the ranks of ABC’s Bachelors?
The NFL quarterback -- who recently signed with William Morris Endeavor -- has been approached by none other than host Chris Harrison to participate in the reality competition series. In an interview with Access Hollywood, Harrison recalls meeting the devout athlete, but says he doubts a deal will come to completion.
“I’ve actually met Tim Tebow. I met him about becoming our next Bachelor,” Harrison told Access Hollywood Live’s Kit Hoover. “I think he’d be a great Bachelor.”
Asked whether Tebow seemed interested in the option, Harrison responded, “Well, they always say yes, but it never happens.”
“He did say yes… but he would never do it,” the host continued. “He has a little job called quarterback for at least another year.”
The 24-year-old NFL break out star has become a cultural phenomenon with his overtly religious comments and polarizing skill set. The former University of Florida star and Heisman Trophy winner signed with WME, who will handle his off-field gigs, in late February. He continues to be represented by CAA for his football contracts.
