TLC's 'Long Island Medium' to Return in October (Exclusive)
The cable network will also hold a live Twitter contest during the premiere, with winners announced on-air.
TLC's Long Island Medium has set a return date for the second half of season four.
The reality series starring Theresa Caputo will be back on the small screen for the remaining 15 episodes of the season on Sunday, Oct. 6, at 9 p.m., The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
In the midseason premiere, the Long Island Medium travels to Philadelphia to surprise her fans with messages from their loved ones. During her trip, Caputo is able to help a mother heal from her son's tragic passing, reunite a widow with her true love and offer closure to a young girl after losing her baby sister.
In an effort to prop up Long Island Medium's return, TLC is holding a live Twitter contest during the East Coast airing of the 9 p.m. premiere, with Caputo's randomly selected winners revealed during the commercial breaks' live segments on-air. Winners will receive a trip for two to meet Caputo and have a private reading.
The contest will also continue during the East Coast's 10 p.m. premiere of Alaskan Women Looking for Love.
Long Island Medium, produced by Magilla Entertainment, averages 2.1 million viewers for TLC.
