'GMA' Scores First Monday Win Since 2006 Against Guthrie's Official 'Today' Debut
Fast affiliate numbers for both broadcasts give ABC an advantage among total viewers and adults 25-54.
Plenty of eyes will be fixed on the morning ratings race this week, now that NBC has officially installed Savannah Guthrie as Matt Lauer's Today co-host.

Guthrie made her proper debut on Monday, more than a week after first filling Ann Curry's vacant seat, and the first numbers have the broadcast coming shy of ABC's Good Morning America in both total viewers and the targeted adults 25-54.
Fast affiliate ratings have GMA posting a 6,000 advantage over Today with adults 24-54 (1.68 million over 1.674 million) and a 356,000 advantage among total viewers (4.425 million over 4.069 million).
If these numbers hold, it will be GMA's first Monday win in both measurements since February, 2006.
Most recently, final numbers gave GMA a total viewership win against Guthrie's unofficial June 29 debut and a tie for average viewers during Curry's last week.
