'True Blood' Previews: Jessica Wishes She Were Dead -- Again (Video)
The young vamp hits an all new low on the next episode.
After the last episode, Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) appears to be hitting an all-time low on the upcoming episode. She broke up with Hoyt (Jim Parrack) and then found that no matter how drunk Jason (Ryan Kwanten) is with her intoxicating blood, the buddy code is a much stronger force.

HBO released new previews of Sunday’s episode and it seems the baby vampire finds out that the American Vampire League’s Nan Flanagan (Jessica Tuck) isn’t the motherly type. Back at Hoyt’s house, a possessed Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) is quite the opposite. He’s looking for somewhere to nest with Arlene’s (Carrie Preston) baby. And werewolf pack leader, Marcus (Dan Buran), pays a visit to Sam (Sam Trammell) at Merlotte’s, but finds Tommy (Marshall Allman) instead.
Plus, we can't wait to see how Sookie (Anna Paquin) survives the gun shot wound during the last battle with the witches. And what will Marnie (Fiona Shaw) do with Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) who we last saw forcibly kneeling in front of her?
Here’s the official description for Sunday’s episode:
Episode #45 (S4, Ep. 9): “Let's Get Out Of Here”
Debut: SUNDAY, AUG. 21 (9:00-10:00 p.m.)
Convalescing after her latest near-death trauma, Sookie envisions a world where there’s room for both Bill and Eric. Jesus (Kevin Alejandro) tries to purge the restless spirit out of Lafayette; Marcus enlists Alcide to help him deal with the Sam situation; Bill and Nan Flanagan (Jessica Tuck) clash over their agendas; Hoyt asks Jason to make a delivery to Jessica; despite Tara (Rutina Wesley) and Holly’s misgivings, Marnie plots her next move against the vampires, during a “Festival of Tolerance” event at Shreveport.
