TV Pilots 2015: The Complete Guide to What Lives, Dies and Still Has a Pulse

Bookmark our annual guide and refresh for the latest as THR tracks pilot pickups, castings and eventual series orders.
From left: Ryan Murphy (Fox's 'Scream Queens'), Erica Messer (CBS' 'Criminal Minds' spinoff) and Silvio Horta (NBC's 'The Curse of the Fuentes Women')

Following a development season that got off to a late start and ultimately featured a major wave of reboots and comic book adaptations, the broadcast networks are again gearing up for a busy pilot season as they compete with not only each other but basic and premium cable as well as streaming services including Netflix, Amazon and Hulu, all of whom are making major scripted pushes.

The networks are again looking to intellectual property to help cut through the increasing clutter and, after such success stories as Fox's Empire, ABC's How to Get Away With Murder and Black-ish, diversity as the broadcasters look to reach new viewers and more accurately represent society.

Here's a look at the pilots in contention for the 2015-16 television season, as ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and The CW sift through hundreds of scripts and move forward in a bid to find the next breakout comedies and dramas. The Hollywood Reporter will be updating throughout pilot and casting season, so be sure to bookmark this page and come back for the latest news.

(Note: Not included are limited/event and miniseries or other projects earmarked for the summer.
