Thursday Night Football may not have been as strong as the week before when it hit a series high, but the NBC telecast was still strong enough to easily top a night brimming with holiday specials.

Per Nielsen's metered markets, the Kansas City Chiefs win over the Oakland Raiders averaged an overnight 11.8 rating among households. That will translate to a winner among viewers — and, given strong early showings among adults 18-49, the key demo as well.

CBS' block performed well without an original Big Bang Theory as a lead-in. The repeat, the night's top entertainment program among adults 18-49, led into new episodes of The Great Indoors (1.5 adults), Mom (1.4 adults), Life in Pieces (1.2 adults) and Pure Genius (0.0 adults).

Fox aired Taraji's White Hot Holidays to the tune of a 0.9 rating in the key demo. At 9 p.m., the freshman finale of Fox's modestly rated Pitch went out with slight lifts. It took a 0.8 rating among adults 18-49 and 2.9 million viewers for the hour.

On ABC, The Great American Baking Show was off two-tenths of a point from its season premiere — earning a 0.9 rating in the key demo. Notorious sank to a 0.5 rating among adults 18-49.

The CW saw both Legends of Tomorrow and Supernatural earn a 0.7 rating in the key demo.
