TV Ratings: 'A.D.' Improves on Sleepy Sunday

The NBC drama inches up, while Fox's 'Golan the Insatiable' makes a modest debut.
'A.D.'

The Big Four didn't have a lot of new offerings on Sunday night, and that brought a small boost for A.D.

NBC's A.D. The Bible Continues averaged a 0.9 rating among adults 18-49, up two-tenths of a point from last week's low. The episode was sandwiched by steady offerings of Dateline (1.0 adults) and American Odyssey (0.5 adults).

A new 60 Minutes fetched a 0.8 rating in the key demographic for CBS. And, on Fox, the premiere of cartoon Golan the Insatiable brought a very modest 0.6 rating with adults 18-49 — though, with two-and-a-half hours of repeats leading up to it, live-plus-same-day expectations for the short order were decidedly low.
