TV Ratings: 'Bachelor in Paradise' Earns 'Bachelor Pad' Numbers
The latest spinoff of the ABC franchise premieres just south of its TV cousin last season in 2012.
Bachelor in Paradise — ABC's next iteration of The Bachelor — opened on Monday night to a 1.3 rating among adults 18-49 and 5 million viewers. It was on par, though not quite as strong, with the most recent season of now-cancelled Bachelor Pad in 2013 — a similar reunion of past castmembers from the franchise.
Mistresses (0.9 adults) held steady with its softer lead-in.

MasterChef earned bragging rights for the night's top broadcast show, averaging a steady 2.0 rating among adults under 50. Neighbor Hotel Hell (1.4 adults) was also steady.
Running Wild With Bear Grylls (1.3 adults) held onto last week's premiere score for NBC, and American Ninja Warrior (1.9 adults) was steady for a close second-place to MasterChef.
Both Under the Dome (1.6 adults) and Whose Line Is It Anyway (0.6 adults) also finished even on CBS and The CW, respectively.
