TV Ratings: ABC Wins Monday With 'The Bachelorette'

Fox's "Hell's Kitchen" wins the night in the key demo; President Obama's speech watched by 23 million on networks according to prelim numbers.

According to fast national numbers that may change significantly, more than 23 million people tuned in across Fox, NBC, ABC and CBS to watch President Barack Obama speak about the debt ceiling Monday.

ABC won the night in the key 18-49 demo. The Bachelorette rated 2.3 before being pre-empted by President Obama's speech and 2.4 after. President Obama's speech rated 2.4 on the network. The finale of Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition was pre-empted and rated a 1.8 between 10:30 and 11 p.m.

Fox came in second. Hell's Kitchen was flat with a 2.5 rating, but was the most watched show for those between 18-49. Obama's speech rated 1.9 at Fox. A rerun of MasterChef, which was pre-empted, rated 1.4.

Univision came in third, followed by CBS, NBC, Telemundo and the CW, which rated a paltry 0.2.
