TV Ratings: 'Big Brother' Drives CBS to Wednesday Win
A new Big Brother, slightly lifted from the previous Wednesday, propelled CBS to a winning night.
The reality show, paired with back-to-back episodes of drama Salvation, led primetime with an average 1.9 rating among adults 18-49 and 6.5 million viewers. As for Salvation, its two-hour block averaged a steady-ish 0.5 rating among adults 18-49 and 3.6 million viewers.
Fox was the only other network to air all originals — both of which were dead-even with their most recent episodes. MasterChef clocked a 1.0 rating in the key demo, and The F Word came in at a 0.6 rating.
The Carmichael Show was slightly lifted as it approaches its series finale, pulling a 0.7 rating among adults 18-49. That, by the way, was enough to beat the hour's other original offerings.
