TV Ratings: Bubble Show 'Great Indoors' Drops in Monday Move
Freshman comedy The Great Indoors was among the conspicuously few CBS series absent from last week's en masse renewals. And its prospects certainly won't be aided by its one-off Monday showing.
The Great Indoors dropped to a 0.9 rating among adults 18-49 in its shift from Thursday, losing nearly one-third of its last demo haul. Admittedly, a drop was a forgone conclusion without a lead-in from The Big Bang Theory, but the series was also off from the rest of the night's lineup — including an original Superior Donuts (1.1 adults) and repeats of Big Bang and Kevin Can Wait.
Bragging rights for the night went to NBC. With a steady outing of The Voice (2.3 adults) and a lifted episode of Taken (1.1 adults), the network easily topped the night in the key demographic.
ABC's Dancing With the Stars faltered in week 2 but still narrowly ranked as the most-watched telecast of the night. It averaged nearly 11 million viewers, as well as a 1.7 rating among adults 18-49.
Both 24: Legacy and APB were business as usual on Fox, averaging 0.9 and 0.6 ratings, respectively, in the key demo and roughly in line with last week. The CW's Supergirl (0.7 adults) and Jane the Virgin (0.4 adults) were also steady.
