Fox was the lone network to get any love from the NFL on Sunday night. Lingering coverage of the Cowboys-Lions playoff game delayed its primetime lineup — and catapulted it to a nightly win in the key demo.

The Simpsons, airing after the handsome lead-in, averaged a 4.6 rating among adults 18-49. An evenly matched Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2.9 adults) and Family Guy (2.8 adults) followed before a new Bob's Burgers (1.9 adults) closed out the night.

Nearly two years after premiering its last season, Celebrity Apprentice returned to NBC with a boost. The two-hour reality competition was up 35 percent with a 2.3 rating among adults 18-49. That followed a new Dateline (1.3 adults).

ABC debuted the first of several new series hitting the air this week. Musical-comedy Galavant aired back-to-back episodes. It was a solid start — especially considering the modest America's Funniest Home Videos lead-in — with the first episode notching a 2.1 rating in the key demo and 7.9 million viewers. A second episode fell 10 percent, pulling a 1.9 rating. Dramas Resurrection (1.0 adults) and Revenge (0.9 adults) proved a considerably smaller draw later in the night.

As for CBS, the trio of dramas — Madam Secretary (1.4 adults), The Good Wife (1.3 adults) and CSI (1.2 adults) — all held with their last outings.
