TV Ratings: 'Empire' Still Ignoring Gravity
It wouldn't be Thursday morning if we weren't pondering how Empire managed to grow its ratings yet again. The Fox drama, airing its sixth episode, again improved upon its previous scores — posting a 4.7 rating among adults 18-49 and 11.9 million viewers. Up a tenth of a point from the previous week, it added more than 400,000 viewers.
As for American Idol (2.7 adults), it shed four-tenths of a point from last Wednesday.
