TV Ratings: 'The Flash' Holds Strong in 'Arrow' Crossover
The Voice was again improved from last week's lows, seeing its Tuesday episode rise three-tenths of a point to a 2.6 rating among adults 18-49. Entering the home stretch of its fall cycle, it secured another nightly victory for NBC. Marry Me (1.4 adults) was similarly improved, though About a Boy (1.1 adults) held steady. Chicago Fire (1.6) adults was also even.
Disney's latest TV foray for Toy Story, Toy Story That Time Forgot, didn't duplicate last year's ratings highs for the Halloween special. The holiday outing averaged a 1.9 rating among adults 18-49 — solid, but slightly less impressive considering the umpteenth airing of A Charlie Brown Christmas that followed did even better with a 2.1 rating. Agents of SHIELD (1.6 adults) also saw some movement on ABC, up two-tenths of a point, and Forever (1.2 adults) improved by the same margin.
Fox's trio of MasterChef Junior (1.6 adults), New Girl (1.4 adults) and The Mindy Project (1.1 adults) all held steady with last week's live-plus-same day showings.
And while the CW's The Flash was also steady, averaging a 1.5 rating among adults 18-49 for the first part of an Arrow crossover, it was the series' most-watched episode since its second outing. Supernatural (0.9 adults) was even.
