TV Ratings: 'The Flash' Logs Season High on Tuesday
Though Tuesday night belonged to a steady CBS block, The Flash might have had the most to brag about. The CW drama rose two-tenths of a point to a 1.6 rating among adults 18-49, a season high and its strongest episode in a year.
That was enough to give the network a No. 2 finish in the 8 p.m. hour, where it easily topped ABC, NBC and Fox. And, with a steady iZombie (0.6 adults), The CW still managed to best ABC and Fox for the entire night.
CBS was on top, however, and by a wide margin. An even NCIS won the night with a 2.4 rating among adults 18-49. NCIS: New Orleans (1.8 adults) and Limitless (1.3 adults) followed, the latter up two-tenths of a point in the key demo from its last original.
New Girl was steady as ever on Fox, pulling a 1.4 rating among adults 18-49 and topping the subsequent sitcoms. Grandfathered (0.9 adults) and Brooklyn Nine-Nine (1.0 adults) were steady, while The Grinder (0.8 adults) did manage to improve two-tenths of a point from last week.
ABC's Fresh Off the Boat (1.2 adults) was off two-tenths of a point from its most recent episode, while The Muppets (0.9 adults) and Agent Carter (0.8 adults) held steady.
