TV Ratings: 'Glee,' 'Body of Proof,' 'Biggest Loser' Rise; 'NCIS' Dominates Tuesday
CBS sees the night's biggest drops, still edging out the Fox comedy block, while ABC's "Cougar Town" slips even more.
CBS topped Tuesday, just edging out Fox among adults 18-49. Fast affiliate ratings give the net a 2.9 in the key demo and a sizable victory among total viewers: 15.3 million.
Driving the victory was NCIS. The procedural was down a tenth of a point from last week, but still pulled the night's best showing, a 3.8 in adults 18-49. NCIS:LA followed with a 2.9, and Unforgettable finished the night, down 17 percent to a series low of 1.9.

On Fox, Glee saw a small uptick with its winter finale. The series pulled in a 2.9 in 18-49-ers, a 4 percent gain over last week. New Girl dipped a tenth of a point for a 3.0 in the demo, and Raising Hope climbed to a 2.2. The net had a 2.8 among adults 18-49 for the night, with 6.5 million viewers.
The Biggest Loser saw a 10 percent gain among adults 18-49. NBC's two-hour broadcast matched its best showing since Jan. 10, pulling in a 2.3 rating. Parenthood also climbed for a 1.7 in the demo, giving the net a 2.1 for the night and 6.1 million viewers.
A flat Last Man Standing, pulling in another 2.2 among adults 18-49, led into a new low for Cougar Town. The comedy was down a tenth of a point for a 1.7 in the demo. The River also scored a 1.7, steady with the previous week, while Body of Proof saw a 17 percent gain for a 1.4 among 18-49-ers. Altogether, ABC brought in a 1.7 in the demo and 5.8 million viewers.
Ringer rose from the previous week's lows, giving it a 0.5 rating among adults 18-49. The CW series managed to built on its lead-in, an encore of Hart of Dixie.
