America's Got Talent hit highs on Tuesday night. After the long holiday weekend, with little broadcast competition to speak of, the NBC series rose to its highest-rated episode of the season and celebrated its most-watched outing since 2011.

The five-year high among total viewers, 12.6 million, dominated the dial between 8 and 10 p.m. — as did the 2.6 rating among adults 18-49. Tied as its highest-rated showing in the key demo in two seasons, Got Talent was up 10 percent compared to the week before. Lead-out Maya & Marty (1.0 adults) held even.

ABC and CBS were the only other Big Four nets to air originals. There was zero movement from last week on the former, with two episodes of Uncle Buck and a new To Tell the Truth each pulling an even 1.0 rating among adults 18-49. CBS' Zoo also was even with a 0.8 rating in the key demo.

The CW had a new Containment, which brought a 0.2 rating in the key demo.
