TV Ratings: 'Hell's Kitchen,' 'MasterChef' Beat 'Bachelor Pad'

Fox won the night averaging a 2.6 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic.

Fox's Monday night lineup of Gordon Ramsay programming topped ABC's telecast of Bachelor Pad.

Hell's Kitchen (6.8 million total viewers, 2.8 rating in adults 18-49 demographic), steady with the previous week, easily won its 8 p.m. time period in the key adult demo -- and overall, ranked as the night's highest-rated and most-watched program. In total tune-in, the competition series rose 3 percent. MasterChef (6 million, 2.4) improved 4 percent, tying its highest Monday adult rating so far this season.

Last night was also the network's highest-rated Monday with original summer programs in four years, averaging a 2.6 rating.

ABC's Bachelor Pad (6.3 million, 2.1) dipped 9 percent from last week's three-hour season opener. In the 9 p.m. hour, Bachelor Pad topped MasterChef in total tune-in, drawing 6.5 million for that hour. A rerun of Castle (3.9 million, 0.9) followed at 10 p.m.
