TV Ratings: 'Marlon' Holds Up Quite Well in Week 2

The NBC comedy essentially matches its premiere scores.

More good news for NBC: Summer comedy Marlon saw zero fatigue in its second week of back-to-back episodes.

After a steady outing of America's Got Talent, which won Wednesday night with a steady 2.0 rating among adults 18-49, Marlon held up with its premiere haul. It pulled a 1.2 rating in the key demo in its first episode and scored a 1.0 rating in the second. Across the full hour, Marlon averaged 4.4 million viewers.

NBC won the night, but CBS came in a strong No. 2 with another outing of Big Brother. The series averaged a 1.7 rating among adults 18-49 and 6.1 million viewers. Salvation took a 0.5 rating.

Fox had back-to-back episodes of MasterChef, which managed to grow from one hour to another, scoring a 1.0 and 1.1 rating among adults 18-49.
