NBC had good news on Tuesday night with nearly all of its lineup growing from last week. The Voice (4.0 rating with adults 18-49), improved three-tenths of a point from last week's Tuesday season opener, easily topping the broadcast networks for the night.
That lead-in boosted About a Boy (2.6 adults), up three-tenths from its first two airings. The midseason comedy was previously sampled after the Winter Olympics and officially debuted with an encore of the pilot episode last Tuesday. Growing Up Fisher (2.0 adults), which had the same rollout, held even with last week's pilot encore. Chicago Fire (1.9 adults) improved a tenth of a point, giving NBC an average 2.7 rating with adults 18-49 and 9.8 million viewers for the night.
