TV Ratings: 'NCIS' Tops 'Voice' Clip Show and 'Idol' Doc on Tuesday
With an even 2.0 rating among adults 18-49 and 15.4 million viewers, NCIS topped broadcast for CBS on Tuesday night.
Neighbor NCIS: New Orleans (1.7 adults) was steady with its most recent original, while Limitless (1.1 adults) shed two-tenths of a point.
The Voice aired a clip show on NBC before Chicago Med shed three-tenths of a point with a softer lead-in. It nabbed a 1.5 rating among adults 18-49, while a steady Chicago Fire pulled a 1.6 adults rating.
Fox aired documentary American Dream, timed to the Thursday finale of American Idol. It averaged a 1.4 rating among adults 18-49, below the typical Idol showing but above what the network typically sees on a Tuesday. The only new comedy to air on the network was a steady Brooklyn Nine-Nine (0.9 adults).
Fresh Off the Boat (1.1 adults) was steady before ABC offered up The Real O'Neals (1.0 adults), Agents of SHIELD (0.9 adults) and Beyond the Tank (0.5 adults).
