TV Ratings: 'Revenge' Returns Steady, 'Apt 23' Retains Much of Premiere Audience
After a six-week hiatus, ABC's freshman drama is down only a tenth of a point with adults 18-49, winning 10 p.m. against mixed competition.
American Idol brought Fox another easy Wednesday win this week, averaging a 4.7 rating among adults 18-49 and 16.5 million viewers. It fell shy of last week's 5.0 demo rating but likely will rise one or two tenths of a point when final numbers are available.

With CBS airing mostly encores and Revenge back at 10 p.m. after six weeks off the air, ABC moved up to second place among adults 18-49, pulling a 2.4 rating in the demo and 7 million viewers. An encore of The Middle started the night, leading into a 2.0. for Suburgatory. Modern Family was down two-tenths of a point to a 4.0 with 18-49-ers and Don't Trust the B---- in Apt 23 pulled a respectable 2.6, falling 10 percent from its premiere last week. Revenge topped its time slot, dipping just a tenth of a point from its previous original for a 2.3 with adults 18-49.
CBS netted a 2.0 rating among adults 18-49 and 7.9 million viewers for the night, with Survivor its only original broadcast. The veteran reality competition earned a 2.7 rating with adults 18-49, even with last week.
Betty White's Off Their Rockers got a small bump on NBC, up a tenth of a point for a 1.7 with adults 18-49. Best Friends Forever held onto its 0.9 in the demo, while Rock Center With Brian Williams moved up to a 0.7. Law & Order: SVU dropped 12 percent for a 1.5, giving the network an average 1.2 rating among adults 18-49 for the night and 4.4 million viewers.
A new episode of America's Next Top Model at 9 p.m. gave The CW a 0.6 with adults 18-49.
