Fox's Rocky Horror Picture Show remake gave the network a jolt on Thursday.

The two-hour special drew a 1.7 demo rating among adults 18-49. That gave Fox a sizable boost from its 0.8 rating average last Thursday (where new episodes of Rosewood and Pitch aired), but it was a steep drop from Fox's last musical special for Grease (4.3 adults), which had the added cache of being filmed live. (Rocky Horror was taped.)

Fox came second to CBS, which won the evening with a steady outing of Thursday Night Football (3.0 adults) in its last week on the network for the season before moving to NBC.

Elsewhere, NBC's scripted lineup took a hit as the network prepares to take the reins of Thursday Night Football from CBS. Superstore (1.0 adults) fell two-tenths, while The Good Place (0.9 adults) fell three-tenths to a series low. Chicago Med (1.2 adults) also fell to a series low after moving to a new night this season. The Blacklist (1.0 adults) was flat.

ABC was steady with Grey's Anatomy (2.1 adults), Notorious (1.0 adults) and How to Get Away With Murder (1.2 adults).

DC's Legends of Tomorrow (0.6 adults) and Supernatural (0.7 adults) were also flat for The CW.
