TV Ratings: Stanley Cup Final Bested by Gordon Ramsay Block, 'Bachelorette'
Although final numbers will paint a slightly different picture, fast nationals have the L.A. Kings' victory over the New Jersey Devils coming in shy of ABC and Fox's rising reality offerings.
Gordon Ramsay took another Monday for Fox, with NBC down from its recent America's Got Talent scores with Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final. Both Hell's Kitchen and MasterChef saw 13 percent bumps from their recent Monday premieres. Hell's Kitchen brought a 2.7 rating among adults 18-49, with MasterChef just behind with a 2.6 in the demo. Altogether, the network averaged 6 million viewers and a 2.7 adults rating.
On ABC, The Bachelorette saw modest gains with a jump of one-tenth of a point. The two-hour broadcast averaged a 2.3 rating among adults 18-49 and led into an encore of Castle (1.1). ABC topped among viewers with 6.6 million for the night and placed second among adults 18-49 with a 1.9 rating.
The L.A. Kings beat out the New Jersey Devils in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final, earning 4.1 million viewers and a 1.6 rating among adults 18-49 for NBC, according to fast affiliate ratings. The score would mark a four-tenths drop among its adults 18-49 rating since last year and the lowest postseason ender since 2006, but time-zone adjustments should give the broadcast a significant bump in final ratings.
CBS encores pulled in 5.7 million viewers and a 1.4 rating among adults 18-49, while The CW's repeats raked in a 0.2 adults rating and 583,000 viewers.
