TV Ratings: 'So You Think You Can Dance,' 'Minute to Win It' Rise

Fox's So You Think You Can Dance and NBC's Minute to Win It rose in the ratings on Wednesday night.

The veteran dance competition series (6.3 million total viewers, 2.4 rating in adults 18-49 demographic) improved 20 percent from last Wednesday's comparable telecast and compared to the same night last year, was up 4 percent.

So You Think You Can Dance also improved 13 percent in total viewers from last Wednesday's performance show. With only a handful of summer programs competing, Dance ranked as the night's top-rated program in the 18-49 and 18-34 demos.

NBC's Minute to Win It (5.3 million, 1.4) improved 8 percent versus Friday's episode, ranking second behind Dance at 8 p.m. America's Got Talent (12.5 million, 3.5) and Love in the Wild (5.9 million, 1.9) both dipped double digits, with Talent -- the night's most-watched program and the top-rated in its 9 p.m. time slot -- hitting a season low for a Wednesday telecast.

At 10 p.m., ABC's Nightline special on the Casey Anthony trial averaged 5.4 million and a 1.3 rating.
