TV Ratings: 'So You Think You Can Dance' Gets Boost, 'Big Brother' Wins Again
CBS tops Wednesday in adults 18-49
CBS' Big Brother notched another victory on Wednesday.
Down 4 percent from last week's comparable telecast, Big Brother (6.5 million, 2.2) was again the evening's top-rated telecast for CBS to open its primetime block. Halle Berry's Extant (4.9 million, 1.0), meanwhile, was even following a Criminal Minds encore.
CBS was the No. 1 broadcast network among adults 18-49, averaging a 1.4 rating — barely topping Fox and NBC, who both tied for second with a 1.3. NBC was the most-watched network, with a 7.3 million average.
A new installment of NBC's America's Got Talent (10.1 million, 1.9) rose 6 percent, boosting Taxi Brooklyn (5.5 million, 0.9) to its best viewership numbers.
Fox's So You Think You Can Dance (4.1 million, 1.3) inched up nearly 20 percent for the finale.
The CW's Penn & Teller: Fool Us continued to garner strong numbers with 2.1 million and a 0.7.
