TV's 3 to See: THR's Live Feed Picks for Wednesday Night
Our recommendations for don't miss TV. Set your DVR.
In the vast world that is our TV choices each day, The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed hopes to make your life a bit easier. Each day we’ll curate the top three shows and episodes we think you should tune in to.
For Wednesday, our three to see are:
The Voice Results Show, NBC, 8 p.m.
Um, obviously. The inaugural winner will be named Wednesday. Also, the finalists will duet with some major stars: Stevie Nicks, Train's Pat Monahan, Miranda Lambert and OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder. Which finalist are you rooting for?
Behind the Music: Missy Elliott, VH1 10 p.m.
The rap star kicks off the series return to the network with its candid stories behind the star's career. Celebrating its 14th anniversary this year, the series will also feature Ice Cube, Miranda Lambert, Mary J. Blige, Enrique Iglesias, Adam Lambert and Ricky Martin.
Necessary Roughness Series Premiere, USA, 10 p.m.
The series premieres with a 75-minute episode. There's a lot to love about this show. It's a bit of a departure from the network's "Blue Sky" summer fare, but this story about a hypno-therapist (Rescue Me's Callie Thorne) whose life falls apart just as she's offered the opportunity to help a struggling pro-footballer (True Blood's Mehcad Brooks) is a really good hour of TV.
Just missed the list:
Melissa & Joey Season 1 Summer Premiere, ABC Family, 8 p.m.
Royal Pains Season 3 Premiere, USA, 9 p.m.
