Oscar Nunez is back in a suit and tie on USA Network's newest comedy, Benched.

A single-camera comedy created by Michaela Watkins and Damon JonesBenched follows a career-driven attorney turned public defender, Nina (Eliza Coupe), when she joins the ranks of the legal world's underdogs and quickly realizes that the law isn't quite as fair as she once thought.

The Hollywood Reporter exclusively debuts a featurette spotlighting Nunez's character as he embarks on his latest endeavor, playing Carlos, a public defender "who can pass for 60" and works alongside Nina. "He's very passionate about helping the poor...from a distance, let's not get crazy," Nunez says of his character.

How did The Office alum land the show in the first place? “In 1998 I was in the Sunday Company at the Groundlings, that is where I met Damon Jones. I lost a bet — apparently Damon doesn’t believe in the statutes of limitations as far as bets go, and here we are today," he explains to THR. "As far as Michaela goes, she’s a very violent person. Let’s leave it at that.”

Benched premieres Oct. 28 on USA Network.
