'The Vampire Diaries': 'Pretty Little Liars'' Torrey DeVitto Joins Cast as Recurring Character (Exclusive)
The actress, who is married to star Paul Wesley, will play a young doctor intrigued by Matt Davis' Alaric on the CW hit.

Paul Wesley and his wife, actress Torrey DeVitto, can start carpooling to work.
The actress, who has a recurring role on ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars, has been tapped to recur on the CW's The Vampire Diaries, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.

DeVitto, who married Wesley in April, will play Mary, an intelligent young doctor intrigued by Alaric's (Matt Davis) powers of recovery on the CW's vampire drama. She'll appear in Episodes 310 and 311 with a strong likelihood to continue on afterward.

In addition to her gig as Melissa on Pretty Little Liars, DeVitto's series credits include playing Nanny Carrie on the CW's One Tree Hill and episodes of Castle and CSI: Miami. On the feature side, she most recently appeared in The Rite with Anthony Hopkins and recently completed filming on Evidence, opposite Radha Mitchell and Stephen Moyer.
