Pretty Little Liars and The Nine Lives of Chloe King's Chris Grismer has joined the creative team behind the CW vampire drama as a producer and director, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The gig reteams Grismer with Vampire Diaries showrunners Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec, for whom he's directed episodes of The Secret Circle and Kyle XY, respectively.

Grismer, whose credits also include helming Being Erica and Make It Or Break It, has also directed music videos for artists including Arcade Fire, Metric, Stars and Broken Social Scene. He is repped by Paradigm.
