It's Official: 'Basketball Wives' Evelyn Lozada Returns for Season 4
VH1 officially announced next season's cast, including two new fierce ladies.
After much chatter that Basketball Wives star, Evelyn Lozada, wouldn’t return for another season, VH1 officially announced that she is on Tuesday – as well as the addition of two new cast members when the series returns in February.

Reportedly, Lozada was miffed at the network for posting a blog suggesting that she had cheated on fiancé, NFL player Chad Ochocinco. THR’s sources confirmed that she was in talks with VH1 for a possible spin off show. And that possibly may have been how the network lured her back. Probably a good move, since she just signed a six-figure movie and book deal. Just sayin'.
In addition to Lozada’s return, the network officially announced two new cast members. Kesha Nichols, whose fiancé, San Antonio Spurs’ Richard Jefferson, broke up with her via email just hours before their wedding in 2009; and Kenya Bell, who’s currently divorcing Golden State Warriors’ Charlie Bell and was arrested in May for stabbing him. Um, wow.
The litigious Meeka Claxton was apparently a one-season-wonder. She won’t be joining Nichols, Bell, and returning wives Lozada, executive producer Shaunie O’Neal, Jennifer Williams, Tami Roman, Royce Reed, and Suzie Ketcham for the upcoming season.
If you’d like to see the women in action before the show comes back, fans can watch an unedited livestream video of the wives during their promo shoot in Miami on Thursday, Dec. 8 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET at www.basketballwives.vh1.com and VH1 Mobile.
