VH1 will continue to go back to the 1990s.

The Viacom-owned cable network has renewed scripted dramedy Hindsight for a second season just days after its freshman run concluded.

The series, which stars Laura Ramsey as Becca, a woman who on the eve of her second wedding in 2015, is transported back 20 years to the morning of her first wedding.

The series was created by Emily Fox and produced by Fox, Carl Beverly and Sarah Timberman.

"Our viewers have fallen in love with Hindsight,” said Susan Levison, exec vp original programming and production at VH1. “From the characters and storytelling to the iconic music and fashion of the '90s, this is a quintessential VH1 show and we can't wait to see what Becca will do next. Congratulations to the cast and creative team behind this signature series.”

For VH1, Hindsight is part of the network's original scripted fare that also includes Hit the Floor, which is heading into its third season. The network also is developing drama The Breaks as a back-door pilot/TV movie and recently parted ways with its first original series Single Ladies, which was revived for a fourth season by BET off-shoot Centric.

A return date or episode count for Hindsight's second season has not yet been determined.
