However, it was their pre-Rising Star personas that really piqued our internal Walls of curiosity: Is Jersey Girl Audrey Kate Geiger really a surfer girl at heart? Is Dana Williams secretly a Gossip Girl? Just how much of a diva is Gabrielle Nicole? The Hollywood Reporter once again scoured YouTube for answers!

STORY 'Rising Star': Meet the Second Week's Singers (Video)

Williams has some pretty cool friends — as in Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester! Check out the star power on the duet of Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams” below.

Beach girl Geiger touted a love for all things sandy and breezy, and in this clip taking on Bob Marley, she shows a flair for reggae, too.

Nicole may be 20, but she’s already an old soul who's been singing since she was 4. Here, the then-17-year-old proves to be a diva-in-training fronting a horn section with sass.

Karen Hornsby captured America’s heart with her story about her daughter, Gabi, who has brain cancer. Hornsby also survived a near-fatal car crash at age 20. She shared her story in a 2012 Kickstarter campaign to fund an inspirational CD. Here is Hornsby in a behind-the-scenes look at that project, recorded at Full Sail University in Orlando.

Adorable 17-year-old Morgan Higgins may have seemed shy on Rising Star, but not on YouTube. Her very first video — a cover of Miley Cyrus' "The Climb" — garnered more than 140,000 views. Not bad for something shot in Higgins' bedroom when she was just 14.
