'The Voice' Recap: Top 3 Advance to the Finale
One contestant falls short of next week's season finale, and season two singers Juliet Simms, Chris Mann and RaeLynn perform their new singles.
Brace yourself: With four solid singers in the semifinals, Tuesday's elimination was destined to be an upset for a big faction of The Voice fans.

After vying for votes with vulnerable ballads on last night's episode, vocal powerhouse Trevin Hunte, soulful singer Nicholas David, pop-rock performer Cassadee Pope and Scottish rocker Terry McDermott waited to see who would not advance to next week's season finale.
Before the big reveal, Blake Shelton's singers (Pope and McDermott) split octaves for Of Monsters and Men's "Little Talks," while Cee Lo Green's artists (Hunte and David) teamed up for Mariah Carey's "Hero." Season-two finalists Juliet Simms and Chris Mann as well as country favorite RaeLynn returned to debut their latest singles.

After a reel of comedic desert-island confessionals, Carson Daly announced the three finalists (in chronological order):
Terry McDermott (Team Blake)
Cassadee Pope (Team Blake)
Nicholas David (Team Cee Lo)
Hunte, from Green's team, was sent home.
"This determines nothing for your future, I don't believe at least," said Adam Levine to the bottom two just before the final reveal came. Christina Aguilera shared that she never won any televised talent competitions. "You soar from here," she said. "It's in your hands what you do."
Will McDermott, Pope or David be the season-three champion? Which eliminated singer do you wish were competing in next week's finale instead? Did Aguilera's pink candy cane-style bangs actually put you in the holiday spirit? Sound off in the comments section below.
