'The Voice's' Blake Shelton reveals 'Toddlers & Tiaras' past (Video)

The Voice coach and country star, Blake Shelton, appeared on Wednesday’s The Jay Leno show and he was in a very confessional mood. Aside from admitting a freaky fantasy about his new wife, country singer Miranda Lambert, and fellow coach Christina Aguilera – we’ll let you connect the dots – Jay Leno outted Shelton for his Toddlers & Tiaras-like past.

“Yes, yes, I was in beauty pageants,” Shelton admits on the show. And as Leno kept digging for more info he further confesses, “I don’t know, yes, they were girl pageants.”  

And as if Shelton’s embarrassment wasn’t bad enough, Leno posted a picture of him from his beauty pageant days. Dressed in a country outfit next to bales of hay, they at least prove Shelton’s country roots.
