Wendy stopped by the THR Covers Lounge before the event and says that she’s placing work before pleasure, but that doesn’t mean she won’t have some good stuff for her viewers when she gets back to New York-based The Wendy Williams Show.

“Monday, I’ll be back from L.A. and I’ll have all my stories, because I only come to L.A. to work,” she tells The Hollywood Reporter. “And so it’s always exciting.”

For Friday’s special, Wendy gave THR a preview of the items she’ll be sharing with QVC’s viewers from her affordable accessories collection, Adorn: A pair of earrings and a handbag.

She’ll be attending along with other QVC celebrities like designer Dennis Basso and comedian Joan Rivers. But, she’s most excited (and afraid) to run into fellow QVC family member and the subject of several recent "Hot Topic" segments on the talk show, the newly single Heidi Klum.

“I’m a ‘Hot Topics’ lady, so I talk about [Heidi and Seal’s divorce],” Wendy says. “And now it’s one of those awkward moments when now I’m out in public and I’m going to see the actual people that I talk about. Oh my God.”
