Cable Notes: 'What Not to Wear' and 'Devils Ride' Renewed
TLC and Discovery order additional seasons of their respective series. while VH1 schedules "Hollywood Exes."
TLC is taking its makeover series What Not to Wear into its tenth season.
The network announced Tuesday that the fashion series, starring Stacy London and Clinton Kelly, will air another 26-episode run starting in Jan. 2013. Based on a British format of the same name, What Not to Wear has aired on TLC since 2003. The most recent season has averaged 1.3 million viewers.
Elsewhere, Discovery has renewed the freshman unscripted series The Devils Ride for a second season. Averaging just north of a 2 million weekly viewers, the Bischoff Hervey Entertainment production about a San Diego motorcycle club concludes its current run on Tuesday night.
In premieres, VH1 has locked down a date for reality docu-drama Hollywood Exes. The 10-episode season kicks off June 27, at 9 p.m., and stars relatively famous divorcees Nicole Murphy (ex-wife of Eddie Murphy), Jessica Canseco (ex-wife of Jose Canseco), Sheree Fletcher (ex-wife of Will Smith), Mayte Garcia (ex-wife of Prince) and Andrea Kelly (ex-wife of R. Kelly).
