'White Collar': Neal Grills Peter for Intel on His New Handler (Exclusive Video)
Will Neal and his new handler become fast friends? THR debuts a scene from the Oct. 24 episode.
White Collar is about to see some changes.
The Hollywood Reporter debuts an exclusive scene from the Oct. 24 episode as Peter (Tim DeKay) moves up to assistant special agent in charge at the FBI's White Collar division.
In the clip, Peter stands tall at the division's glass doors, the same doors he has walked through for years, only this time -- with operatic music playing in the background -- things are about to be vastly different. But first, with coffee in hand, he and Neal (Matt Bomer) start their day off with a bit of banter.
"You're late," Peter tells the con man-turned-partner. "We usually just hang out and drink coffee for the first half hour," Neal quips.
Without skipping a beat, Neal fishes for intel on his new handler, FBI Agent David Siegel (Warren Kole), who is just feet away. Neal's projection of Peter 2.0? Someone "late middle-aged, curmudgeonly, prefers Sports Center to Masterpiece theater."
Peter isn't budging though. "You're an expert on handlers. I'll let you figure it out."
Don't expect Neal and Agent Siegel to be best friends right off the bat. "Neal, at first, doesn't like having a new handler. He wishes things were back to Peter and Neal," DeKay told THR prior to the start of the season. "I think there's a resentment Neal has toward Peter, to a certain degree, because he broke up the partnership for a certain time."
White Collar airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on USA Network.
