'Wilfred's' Randall Einhorn Inks Overall Deal with FX
He'll develop, executive produce and direct projects for the cable network while remaining on board the third-year comedy series.
FX is expanding its relationship with Randall Einhorn.
The Wilfred executive producer and director has inked an overall deal with FX Productions to develop, executive produce and direct projects for the cable network.
As part of the pact, the It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Parks and Recreation and Modern Family director will remain on board the Elijah Wood-Jason Gann comedy as a producer and director.

“Randall has been a major player in the world of FX comedies, first on Sunny and now on Wilfred,” said FX Productions exec vp and head of series development Eric Schrier. “He has great sensibilities and we look forward to him developing new projects for FX. He is also one of the most highly regarded comedy directors in television and we’re thrilled that those services were included in this deal.”
Einhorn's credits also include NBC's The Office, Up Al Night, Shameless and Nurse Jackie.
For FX, the deal continues the network's history of locking down its exec producers with overall deals. Others who have done the same at FX include Archer's Adam Reed and Matt Thompson, as well as Sons of Anarchy's Kurt Sutter.
FX in October renewed Wilfred for a third season under new showrunners Reed Agnew and Eli Jorne.
Einhorn is repped by WME, Odenkirk Provissiero and Bloom Hergott.
