'X Factor': Finalists' Twitter and Facebook Addresses Revealed

After weeks of build-up, The X Factor’s season 1 finalists were finally revealed on Tuesday -- 17 in total, rather than the 16 Fox had announced.

No doubt, just as surprised as the viewers was 19-year-old Melanie Amaro, who received an unexpected second chance by show creator and head judge Simon Cowell. In a rare moment of humility (or straight up TV manipulation -- it’s sometimes hard to tell the difference), Cowell admitted he’d “made a mistake” by sending the Sunrise, Fla. college student home.

Later that night, the network offered another reveal: the finalists’ Twitter handles and Facebook pages. In the social media lead so far? Brooklyn's own Astro, the 15-year-old who rapped, "Stop looking at my mom!" (to be fair, he had built a bit of a following before his X Factor audition), with 42-year-old single mom and Whitney Houston pal Stacy Francis a close second.
