'X Factor' Audio Shifts Rachel Crow Elimination Blame Game From Nicole Scherzinger to Paula Abdul (Video)
The Pussycat Dolls singer may have had some help in making her decision, which ultimately sent the 13-year-old packing.
As we saw with Drew Ryniewicz’s elimination, fans can get quite heated when their favorite act is eliminated. And Nicole Scherzinger is feeling the heat right now after sending last week’s elimination to deadlock, which led to the elimination of Rachel Crow. But, new video shows that she may not have made that decision on her own.
In the days following the elimination, viewers had a lot to say about Nicole’s part in the elimination.
“It is unfortunate that RACHEL had to go home today,” writes The Hollywood Reporter reader, xfactor fan. “I think Nicole took an easy cop out and she knew it. RACHEL was way more consistent than Marcus was. I'm sorry to say but Marcus should’ve went home. Nicole, I hope you’re happy letting a star pass threw your fingers.”
Others believed that Nicole shouldn’t shoulder the burden as she simply let America’s votes decide.
“Nicole did the right thing and let it be decided by the public,” says THR reader, Randall. “Rachel didn't have the votes. The public was the last judge like it should be!”
But, TMZ has just released the audio during a short interaction between co-judge Paula Abdul and Nicole. And it sounds as if Paula suggested that she whispered to her cohort, “Just let it go to a deadlock.”
Does that make any difference for you?
