Iggy Azalea, Sam Smith, Taylor Swift, Pharrell Williams, Beyonce, Ed Sheeran and Ariana Grande are among those nominated

This year's Grammy nominations were unveiled all throughout Friday: Ed Sheeran and Pharrell Williams announced a handful of categories while on CBS This Morning, and various artists and TV personalities shared the news of other nods with short videos on Twitter through the afternoon. The nominees for the final category, Album of the Year, were revealed in a primetime special on CBS.

Sam Smith and Beyonce are tied with six nominations, but Smith has more in the major categories. Still, Beyonce's six nods have officially made her the most Grammy-nominated woman in history, passing Dolly Parton. Iggy Azalea has four nominations.
